Here's To Your Success

The market is improving in some ways and more difficult in other ways. Agents are working harder to get the same results, spend more of their own money, spend more time cultivating leads and are losing more transactions.
This is the market that produces top Agents.  Those of you who are sticking around are going to win big, if not now in the medium and long run.  After twenty seven years at this I can see that continuous and significant success in this business takes the hard work and intelligence that can only be learned in a market like this.

Continuous and significant success requires staying power.
All those quotes, like the following, that football coaches use apply to those of you who are going do more than survive this market.  You are going to succeed through it.
Those who know this about themselves will identify with the following.
Those that are not sure will be inspired by the following.
Those that read the following as motivational drivel will be out of the business in the next year.
Here’s to your success!

These are all quotes from Vince Lombardi – Coach of the first two Superbowl Champion Green Bay Packers before it was even called the Super Bowl.  In his time it was called the World Championship Game.  In 1970, just months after his death the Superbowl trophy was renamed the Vince Lombardi Trophy.  This winning coach said…

“The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather in a lack of will.”
“Once you learn to quit, it becomes a habit.”
“Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.”
“Winning isn't everything, but the will to win is everything.”
“Life's battles don't always go to the stronger or faster man.  But sooner or later the man who wins is the man who thinks he can.”

(Forgive the male chauvinism.  I clearly read this as a man or woman, appreciate that he lived in another era and I believe today would clearly embrace that these sentiments apply to all people, men and women, boys and girls who are committed to their success.)
