It is decision time of year.

Decide what your 2008 goals will be.  Decide what your 2008 marketing plan will be.  Most Agents don’t have any idea of how to build a business plan but this time of year it occurs to them that it would be a good time to learn.  (By the way call if you would like to schedule a business planning session or get our free complete business planning system at www.YourMillionDollarBusinessPlan.com.  You’ll be surprised and delighted with it.)

The one thing that doesn’t work is to be indecisive.  It is decision time of year.  Not having goals is de-motivating.  That means it goes beyond not motivating you to actually damaging your motivation.  Not having a plan, not having a marketing plan, not being sure if you want to be in Real Estate, not being sure if you want to pursue a different type of career or stay in sales, all of these ‘nots’ really are knots that tie up your momentum and your motivation.

So, start making decisions for 2008.  Make your plans for 2008.  I don’t allow my clients to be indecisive at this time of year.  I know that the planning attitude of this time of year creates the mindset for a secure and successful 2008 or an insecure and struggling next year.

As I have my late year coaching calls I am struck by this truth repeatedly each day.  It is a decision time of year and the decisions you make frame the quality of your business and the quality of your life for your 2008.
