Happy Thanksgiving!
This is written on Turkey Day just before the first football game.
Son number one is home, number two is arriving at a about halftime of game one.
Spent an hour at Temple ushering for the Interfaith service, I am never very interested in the service but I love to greet and make people feel welcome.
Whether this day is just a great day because you sleep late, veg in bed and around the house, whether this is a great day because there are three consecutive football games, because you get to eat a fabulous meal, or because you get to be with friends, I hope you find (or found) a way to make it a great day for you.
And if for some reason it was not. Take another day and make it your great day. You deserve it. A new year is about to begin. In terms of income it has already begun for you. (Remember, it is likely that anything you sell from now to the end of the year is likely to pay you in the new year.) So, whether the rest of this year is a celebration of a great 2007 or recommitment to make 2008 the year you had hoped 2007 would be, enjoy your life. It is the only year of 2007 and you will ever have.
Happy T Day.
