Moral of the story...
I want to share an email I received from a client recently. I found it to be very encouraging
"Dear Rich,
I had an interesting experience this evening showing an under construction house to some young clients of mine. We went to the house and there were 2 pickup trucks outside. The doors were open and they were working on putting the ktichen cabinets in. I said hello and introduced myself to the guy who came forward. He asked if I had been to the hosue before and I said no and asked him a few questions about it. He kind of followed us around and showed us a few features. When we got ready to leave I said good bye and thanked him. As I was getting into my car he came over and said" Do you happen to have a few extra cards. I said yes and he went on to explain that people stop all the time and are interested in buying a house. I thought this is kind of weird why doesn't he tell the agent from Coldwell Banker who has it listed. But before I had a chance he said I don't really think the realtor who has it listed is doing a very good job for the builder so I am happy to pass on your card as you seem to know what you are talking about!
You never know what will happen when you are out showing property and where leads may come from and of course the Moral to the Story... always give people your card, introduce yourself and have extra cards with you!"
