Email to a Client
Following is an e-mail I sent to a client today.
I thought it might be a good message for many.
"Step by step, you win step by step.
Unless you win the lottery, you win step by step. Even the biggest winners, Michael Jordan didn’t win a championship until his seventh year in the season. Bill Gates struggled for a decade before he could be confident his company would survive.
You are impatient and that is good.
The first step was to get you to a place you would have opportunity and see if you could take advantage of it. And you did.
The next step is for you to be consistent with your production. Get your bills paid and begin to put away some money. And you are.
Did you hit your March goal and how many sales have you made in April? Step by step.
If you are achieving these early goals you build the confidence for a foundation for the next goals.
There is absolutely a strategy to get you to the higher price range. We can talk about it when we meet next.
For now stay focused on the goals you have chosen. If you are able to stay focused on those you will be successful at focusing on the next level goals.
Some people can handle failure better than success and as success comes they fall into a pattern that limits or diminishes their success. One sure sign I see of this is when a Client stops paying attention to their current measurable goals and reverts to focusing on actions instead of results.
Step by step, keep selling a house a week. Get secure and let’s meet."
